Akshay Kumar celebrated his 56th birthday on September 9th by visiting the Jyotirling temple of Baba Mahakaleshwar in Ujjain, seeking blessings alongside his family. Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan joined him for this auspicious occasion, and together they performed the bhasma aarti of Lord Mahakal early in the morning.
Akshay was accompanied by his sister, niece, and son, while Shikhar was also accompanied by his family. Both the actor and the cricketer arrived at the temple directly from the Indore airport. Following the bhasma aarti, they made their way to Shri Mahakal Lok.
Speaking to the media, Akshay Kumar expressed his wishes for the country’s continued growth and for Baba’s blessings to remain. Shikhar Dhawan also shared his gratitude, mentioning that they were thankful to God for inviting them to seek his blessings.
When Shikhar was questioned about the upcoming World Cup, Akshay Kumar humorously remarked that Baba Mahakal would ensure success in such matters. He emphasized that their visit was to seek progress from Mahakal and wished for the prosperity of the nation.
