When asked to sum up his collection for this year, Rawal says, “If I had to put it into one sentence, I would say it’s all about creating a classical yet contemporary aesthetic-based product, that caters to an array of occasions ranging from modern Luxury to deep-rooted tradition.”
The collection’s items are understated yet stand-alone statements. They are consistently anchored in luxury and are urban, nostalgic, and current. Every recognizable silhouette is reinvented in modern architectural forms, and textures are used extensively. The clothing is carefully constructed to produce an immersive tactile experience, from elaborate thread-dipped pieces and embroidery to surface embellishments in the shape of 3-dimensional designs and the development of their own distinctive textiles.
